Dana Fear was 75 when he passed away on April 5, 2023. He graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1967. Dana was a sergeant with 20 years of service when he retired in 1987. He also retired from the USPS in 2010. 

Dana was Post Commander for both the Mattydale American Legion post 1832 and the Mattydale Vfw Post 3146.

Surviving are his wife Linda of 38  years a brother Stanley and a sister Sharon (MArk) Gloska, a brother -in-law Daniel (Lana) Heid and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Saturday, April 15,2023 from 3-5 pm at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse, NY followed by military honors service at 5 pm.
