December 14, 2003 William G. Bewley, 76, of Manlius, died Sunday at Community General Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn and has resided in the Syracuse area most of his life. He worked in carpet sales for DeWitt Floors and later for himself as Cus-tom Crafts of Fayetteville. He was a bus driver and custodian for F-M School District. He was a navy veteran of WWII. Survived by: his wife, former Betty Evans; three sons, William of Las Vegas, NV, Thomas of Vancouver, WA, and Robert of Liverpool; three daughters, Cathie Pelokie of Phoenix, AZ, Peggy Patton of Vancouver, WA, and Lyndia Dodson of Phoenix, AZ; three stepsons, Leon Santee of Otisco, Bruce Santee of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Don Santee of Santa Barbara, CA; 22 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Gang Memorial Chapel. Burial in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave. GANG MEMORIAL CHAPEL
